Here are some things to consider when choosing between wood vs gas:
YETI Ramblers are over-engineered, 18/8 stainless Tumblers, Bottles, and Colsters®, designed with double-wall vacuum insulation and a No Sweat™ Design. The Tumblers will keep your soda, beer, smoothie, or mixed drinks cold twice as long as plastic cups. The Colster is like a steel bear hug for your cans and bottles, while its Load-and-Lock™ Gasket keeps your drink in its place. The Bottles go wherever there’s a need for ice-cold or piping-hot beverages. Their Over-the-Nose™ Technology makes for easy loading, drinking, and cleaning. And their TripleHaul™ Caps are 100% leakproof and comfortable to grip.
For proper maneuverability and heat circulation, we’d suggest cooking one pizza at a time. Each pizza takes only 60 seconds to cook, and it must be launched, monitored, turned, and removed. This can make cooking more than one pizza at a time slightly more difficult!
Ooni ovens are designed for outdoor use only (Ooni Volt is the exception, as it can be used indoors). Make sure there’s at least 3 feet (1 metre) of space around all sides of your oven, and 9 feet (3 metres) of clearance above it. If your oven has a chimney, it might not be suitable for use on most balconies due to the required overhead clearance.
Place your oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface – avoid glass, plastic surfaces and flammable materials such of table clothes/covers. There should sufficient clearance between the edge of any oven leg and the edge of the table or surface it’s sitting on.
When not in use, we recommend using an Ooni cover to protect your oven from rain, dust, and debris. If you’re expecting heavy weather, like snow, strong rain, or extended exposure to salty sea air, it’s best to store your oven indoors.
Always store your oven in a dry environment. Avoid humid spaces like damp sheds or garages. If you live near the coast or a large body of water, regularly check your oven and wipe down any salt residue to help prevent corrosion.
