Cantilever/Side Post Umbrellas

Cantilever/side post umbrellas offer the best use of your outdoor space by providing unobstructed cover while under the canopy. Our cantilever umbrellas are cleverly designed for the changing sun direction by offering full 360-degree mast rotation, variable vertical mast tilt, and models with side axis winders to control horizontal tilt. Our umbrellas come with different canopy shapes and sizes to suit your preference, including rectangular, square and octagonal. All of our umbrella canopies come with high performance UV resistant fabric and are available in attractive and neutral colours. We include a Beige waterproof polyester protective umbrella cover with these cantilever umbrellas to prolong the life of your umbrella canopy.

Centre Post Umbrellas

Centre post umbrellas (also called market umbrellas) are a very common style of umbrella and are a cost-effective way to shade smaller areas. Some of our centre post umbrellas have a tilt adjustment that allows you to continue blocking the sun as much as possible. Our canopy fabrics have been chosen for UV resistance and durability, though we recommend protective umbrella covers to extend the life of your umbrellas.

A good umbrella cover protects and prolongs the life of your outdoor umbrella. We include this as standard with all our cantilevered umbrellas and have cost-effective options for our centrepost (market) umbrellas. Our umbrella covers provide UV and waterproof protection for your umbrella canopies and come in various sizes to suit all types of centrepost or cantilever umbrellas. All umbrella covers come with a sturdy rod to make it easier to fit the cover over the canopy. Our umbrella covers can be used as a replacement cover for your existing umbrella regardless of type or brand.

How can I prolong the life of my shade umbrellas?

We recommend having a durable protective cover for your umbrella – it will add years to the life of your umbrella and is well worth the small investment. Our protective covers have high water resistance with coated polyester fabric, and provides high UV protection to your umbrella fabric. If you already have an umbrella, we have replacement umbrella covers in various sizes that should suit your umbrella.

Are your shade umbrellas waterproof?

No, our shade umbrellas are designed for sun protection, not rain.

Are any of your umbrellas rated for high winds?

Yes, several of our umbrellas are wind-rated (our top of the range Asta cantilever umbrella has been wind-rated to 60kph). We do still advise customers to fold up their umbrellas and use a protective cover if there is a potential for high winds.
