The professional bakers and pizza makers we worked with in developing our pizza ovens were not using the standard planetary stand mixers that you find in most homes. For years they have used a different kind of mixer to make their dough – a commercial spiral mixer. There’s a reason why: better dough which gave better breads and pizzas.
We wanted to unlock that next-level standard of dough mixing for every home baker which is why we’ve developed the Ooni Halo Pro Spiral Mixer.
Most commercial spiral dough mixers can only be used for making dough, with a fixed bowl and a non-removable breaker bar, which limits versatility. We knew the Ooni Halo Pro spiral mixer needed to do more than “just” dough to earn its place in your kitchen. The Ooni Halo Pro’s detachable rotating bowl, tilt-head mechanism and patent-pending Removable Breaker Bar allow you to switch attachments quickly and easily, from the Spiral Dough Hook to a Geared Whisk or a Flexible Beater – unlocking a world of versatility for home bakers.
